The British Council in Vietnam informed that in this May, the UK’s band Black Voices will be performing  in Vietnam on the occasion of  the 60th anniversary of the reign of Queen.

Following the success of the workshop held in October, 2011 in Moscow - Russian Union, another workshop on Hanoi - Moscow Trade Investment promotion was held at Melia Hanoi Hotel on May 11th 2012. The workshop was hosted  by Hanoi People's Committee and was coorganised by the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the State Committee on Overseas Vietnamese- Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Department of Trade Promotion - Ministry of Trade and Industry, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) and The Vietnam- Russia Business Council. The execution units were Incentra and Hanoi Department for Foreign Affairs.

On the 17^th, May, two French talented trumpet artists: Pierre and Dominique Skorny Dutot will hold a concert in Hanoi.

“Russia and Vietnam have established a strategic partnership and multifaceted cooperation for a long time. We have considered each other as a top priority in political policy and economy,” said Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son at a workshop for trade and investment promotion between Hanoi and Moscow which was held on May 11, 2012 at Melia Hotel, Hanoi.

Two famous Spanish 12-string guitarists - López Vicente and Alfredo Lagos - will perform at the Hanoi Opera House on May 16 to mark the 35th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Spain Diplomatic relations.

The Hanoi Cinematheque will host the first Latin American Film Festival starting on May 15th, 2012, aimed at showcasing and promoting Latin American filmmakers; celebrating the richness and diversity of Latin American cultures and experiences as well as fostering cross-cultural understanding and dialogue with Vietnamese audience.

On the morning of May 8, in the headquarter of Hanoi People’s Committee, Deputy Chairman Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc welcomed a delegation of Association of Korean loving Vietnam (VESAMO) led by its chairman, Professor, Dr. Park Kwang Joo.

On the afternoon of May 7, on behalf of Hanoi’s leaders, Director of Hanoi Department for Foreign Affairs Ha Van Que had a meeting with a delegation of KOICA led by Deputy Permanent Representative of KOICA in Vietnam Lee Dong Hyun.
