Vice Chairman Tuan said at the meeting that in 2016, Hanoi government planned its public investment scheme for the period 2016-2020, which gives priority to projects of long-term planning, waterworks construction, waste treatment, clean of lakes, planting of 1 million trees and landscape improvement to enhance the living conditions for people. Besides, the city also focuses stepping up the application of IT, reducing administrative procedures and support foreign investors and domestic enterprises as well, added he.
The city leader highly valued the relationship between Hanoi and Fukuoka within the traditional Vietnam – Japan friendship and cooperation. Until now, the projects of Japanese investors in Hanoi have been successfully carried out, earning the trust of the people not only in the city but also in the whole country, e.g. Yen Xa waste water treatment plant, Hanoi Center for Cancer Patient, etc., stressed he.
Believing the bilateral relations will go on well developing and open more opportunities of win-win cooperation, Chairman of Fukuoka Prefectural Assembly Masayuki Nakao affirmed he will serve as a helpful bridge with investors and competent agencies from its region to seek collaboration opportunities with Hanoi in the field proposed by the host.
