Hanoi promotes cooperation with Israel on start-up, high technology


On 15th September, Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Duc Chung welcomed newly Israeli Ambassador to Vietnam, H.E Nadav Eshcar on the occasion of his new tenure in Vietnam.

At the meeting, the Ambassador thanked the Hanoi authorities for creating condition for the activities of the Israeli Embassy in Hanoi and affirmed that in the coming time, it will continue to promoting cooperation between Hanoi and Israel, especially in fields of mutual interest such as: Science - technology, high technology agriculture, start-up ...

In the framework of the meeting, H.E Nadav Eshcar proposed two collaborative initiatives towards the 25th anniversary of the establishment of Israel-Vietnam diplomatic relations in 2018, including: displaying crop cultivation technology on the surface not flat in Hanoi and the Israeli artists' team to decorate the dome wall area of Phung Hung Street (Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi).

Congratulate Ambassador on the occasion of the new term in Vietnam, Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee hoped that Mr. Nadav Eshcar will make his best efforts to strengthen and enhance the relationship between Hanoi - Israel in particular and Vietnam - Israel in general. It suggested that the Ambassador be the bridge to promote twinned cooperation between Hanoi and Tel Aviv.

In addition, the Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee also expected the Ambassador will continue to promote the two projects have implemented such as the transfer of air purification technology for high-tech hospitals in Hanoi and exchange of consultants to build the portal on the integrated ecosystem of Hanoi is implemented urgently, on schedule.

Thanks to the warm welcome of the City's leaders, Ambassador Nadav Eshcar affirmed that based on the information received from the authorities of the city, he would make every effort to promote the cooperation between Hanoi and Israel.
