Taking the opportunity, the diplomat introduced the other members who come from Kiev Scientific Research and Design Institute and IDOM, a Spanish company in Engineering, Consulting, and Architecture, with a view to bringing forward and discussing their collaboration possibility with Hanoi in the fields of infrastructure and energy. IDOM’s representatives informed the city leader about some outstanding projects of its strengths like construction, infrastructure, and architecture, sharing their interest in joining investment in Hanoi’s infrastructural projects.
Chairman Chung briefed the visitors on the Plan of Urban Infrastructure Development for the period 2016-2020, involving bridges over Red river, the metro system, renovation to dilapidated apartment blocks, and construction of underground parking space and development of satellite cities. The city always encourages and offers preferential policies to foreign companies who join investment and cooperation in its area, affirmed he. The leader also ordered the relevant departments to provide the firms with the list of projects and work closely with their representatives to examine and discuss the possibility to invest in those projects of Hanoi.
