Vice Secretary of Hanoi Party Committee received the high-level delegation of the National Council of Solidarity Front for the Development of Cambodian Motherland

In the morning of May 25th, 2017, Mr. Dao Duc Toan, Vice Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee received the delegation of the National Council of Solidarity Front for the Development of Cambodian Motherland.

The high-level delegation led by Mr. Nhem Valy, Vice Chairman cum Acting General Secretary of the National Council of Solidarity Front for the Development of Cambodian Motherland has met with Vice Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Dao Duc Toan. Attending the meeting were Mrs. Nguyen Lan Huong, Head of the Public Relation Department of the Hanoi Party Committee.

At the meeting, Vice Secretary Dao Duc Toan welcomed and affirmed that the delegation's visit to Vietnam was one of practical activities to mark the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries Vietnam - Cambodia (24/6/1967 - 24/6/2017). Hanoi is assigned by the Vietnam Government to host a grand ceremony to celebrate the anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries at the end of June 2017.

Hanoi always treasured the sentiment of Cambodian people for the Vietnamese people and highly appreciated the role of the National Council of Solidarity Front for the Development of Cambodian Motherland through the activities for further strengthening the solidarity between the two countries, especially helping overseas Vietnamese living in Cambodia.

Mr. Nhem Valy expressed his sincere thanks to the Vice Secretary for spending precious time to receive the delegation. Mr.Nhem Valy said that Cambodian people would host an election on coming time. Cambodian people will always appreciate the sacrifice of Vietnamese soldiers. He emphasized that the National Council of Solidarity Front for the Development of Cambodian Motherland would put more effort to develop the relationship between the two countries more solid, as well as to pay more attention and help overseas Vietnamese living in Cambodia.
