Hanoi is ready to create favorable conditions for Austrian companies investing


On 5th September, Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Duc Chung received Ambassador of Austria in Vietnam – Mr. Thomas Loidl to bid farewell at the end of his tenure.

At the meeting, Ambassador Thomas Loidl affirmed that the active cooperation between the Hanoi and the Embassy of Austria to Vietnam has brought remarkable achievements, contributing to strengthening cooperation between Austria and Vietnam.“ 2017 is a memorable milestone marking the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Austria. With a solid foundation, the relationship between Vietnam and Austria has developed strongly over time in politics, economics, trade…Austrian companies have been active in Hanoi City in particular, Vietnam in general” Mr. Thomas Loidl said. The Ambassador also expressed his gratitude for the support of the city's government.

Expressing his affection for the capital city of Ha Noi, Ambassador of Austria affirmed in any position will continue to make efforts to connect and promote diplomatic relations between Austria with the Hanoi capital as well as Vietnam.

In agreement with Ambassador Thomas Loidl, Chairman of Hanoi People’s Committee affirmed that it would create conditions for the events in the framework of the 45th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Austria. "Hanoi will accompany the Embassy to organize this event successfully," Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung said.

Regarding the role and efforts of the Ambassador, Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung expressed his wish that Thomas Loidl will continue to work as a bridge for bilateral cooperation between Hanoi and Austria. On the Hanoi side, the City government is ready to create conditions for investors, Austrian experts in particular and Europe in general to promote cooperation in the capital, on the basis of mutual benefit, jointly.
